Intro
Hey there! I'm Abhi, a senior Computer Science student from UT Dallas graduating in 2025 who is deeply passionate about Cloud, DevOps, and Automation.
My journey into tech began when I was 8 years old with a fascination for how the internal parts of a computer functioned, driving me to explore various programming languages and technologies in the future.
Throughout my academic journey, I've delved into computer and network security, operating systems, and immersed myself in the world of DevOps and cloud computing.
I'm enthusiastic about bridging the gap between software development and operations,
leveraging tools to create efficient, scalable solutions in the cloud.
In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, reading novels, and exploring different cuisines.
Work
I interned at AWS as a Cloud Support Associate from June 2024 to August 2024 where I worked with cross-functional teams and
gained experience in designing scalable enterprise architectures using best practices, troubleshooting production systems,
and wrote internal documentation that led to a 15% faster resolution time for complex support cases relating to EKS.
I volunteered as a software engineer during Spring 2024 at UTDesign, where I worked on the Procurement Manager
to automate the process of students requesting for more funding and ordering parts for their senior projects. In this role, I expanded my knowledge in software development, version control, and automation
as I implemented core features and designed a CI/CD pipeline to ensure integrity of the codebase when changes are pushed. I also wrote unit tests and reviewed team members' code changes.
At UTD, I was a technical officer engaged with the AWS Cloud Club, gaining practical experience in deploying AWS services like EC2, S3, and CloudFormation while also teaching cloud concepts to newcomers.
This involvement allowed me to contribute to projects demonstrating the real-world applications of cloud computing in tech solutions.
Outside of structured activities, I worked on personal projects focusing on various topics like Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Security, and Cloud. They can be viewed on my Github profile linked below.
